DONTNOD, developer of the award-winning Life is Strange, contracted me to provide consultation on the mental health representation in their upcoming title, Tell Me Why.

Scope

I reviewed game documents and portions of the script. I provided in-depth analysis on the characters, including psychological formulations, risk analysis of the language used, and provided recommendations. I also consulted on the design of game mechanics which revolved around health and anxiety.

Outcome

Awards included: BAFTA 2021 nominee for “Game Beyond Entertainment” award; The Game Awards 2021 WINNER “Games for Impact” Award
